Legal Guarantee of Conformity

For consumers benefiting from French law, new products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from the date of delivery of the goods.

This guarantee may apply when a product:

does not correspond to the description presented at the time of purchase;
does not possess the advertised qualities or functionalities;
has a defect of conformity under the conditions provided by law.

The legal guarantee applies independently of any commercial guarantee.

What to do in case of a problem?

If you encounter a problem with your watch, please contact our customer service:

Please provide us with:

your order number;
the model concerned;
a precise description of the problem;
photos or a short video if they help identify the defect.

Our team will examine your request and inform you of the procedure to follow.

Solutions in case of covered defect

When the conditions of the legal guarantee of conformity are met, the consumer benefits from the solutions provided by the applicable regulations.

Depending on the situation, this may lead to the repair or replacement of the product, and, when the legal conditions are met, to a price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund.

The application of the legal guarantee of conformity is free of charge for the consumer.

What is not a conformity defect

The warranty does not cover problems resulting exclusively from:

a shock or fall after receipt;
misuse;
unauthorised intervention or modification of the watch;
non-compliance with the conditions of use or water resistance indicated for the model;
normal wear and tear resulting from the use of the product.

However, these exclusions cannot reduce the rights legally enjoyed by the consumer when a true defect of conformity exists.

Water Resistance

The level of water resistance varies by model.

The mention 3 ATM / 30 m, when it appears on a watch or its product sheet, should not be interpreted as authorization for diving or swimming.

We recommend respecting the indications on the model's product sheet and avoiding any aquatic use exceeding the level of resistance provided by the manufacturer.

Automatic Watches

An automatic mechanical watch may exhibit a variation in accuracy different from that of a quartz watch.

It may also stop when not worn for a certain period and require winding before reuse.

These characteristics inherent in the operation of a mechanical movement do not necessarily constitute a defect.

Guarantee against hidden defects

The consumer may also benefit from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under the conditions provided for in articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code.

This guarantee is separate from the legal guarantee of conformity.
