Is the transparent case back fragile?
No. The glass back is secure and fixed to ensure water resistance. It withstands everyday impacts and maintains the 3 ATM water resistance. It is no more fragile than a standard case back.
Do I need to wind the watch manually?
When worn daily, it winds itself. If it has not been worn for more than 36-42 hours, turn the crown about twenty times to start it up, then reset the time and date.
